Syed Saleem Akhtar began his professional journey after completing his MBA in Sales and Marketing from Punjab University. He excelled in the pharmaceutical industry, serving in various multinational and national companies in Pakistan as the Head of Marketing and Sales. His expertise in developing strategic marketing plans, managing sales teams, and driving revenue growth played a pivotal role in the success of these organizations.
After establishing himself as a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical sector, Syed Saleem Akhtar ventured into the banking industry. He joined a leading bank in the UAE, where he served for a decade. During his tenure, he consistently exceeded sales targets, implemented innovative marketing campaigns, and fostered strong relationships with clients. His outstanding performance earned him several prestigious awards,included the best Gem award from H.H .Shiekh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum (Member of Ruler family and Chairman of Emirates Airline , Emirates Nbd bank ).
Following his successful stint in banking, Syed Saleem Akhtar took on the role of CEO for the Gulf and MENA region of a multinational company based in Dubai. Under his leadership, the company achieved significant growth and expanded its operations in the region. His strategic vision, strong business acumen, and ability to navigate complex market dynamics were instrumental in driving the company’s success.
Syed Saleem Akhtar is widely recognized for his efforts in attracting foreign investment to Pakistan.
